Apollo Electric Reviews From Hamilton Customers
Pot lights and complete home rewiring. I have used electrician Zvonko for years everything from installing pot lights to a total rewiring of a house. Honest, quality work, he really knows his trade.
Tom, Dundas
Electrical repair, diagnosis and upgrades. Optimal Property Management Inc. has been using electrician Zvonko at Apollo Electric for 6 yrs. He is an expert at diagnosing complex problems that others couldn’t diagnose. We find him extremely conscientious and highly recommend him.
Mark Crooker, President, Optimal Property Management (via Trusted Pros)
Same-day short circuit repair. Called Zvonko from Apollo Electric to check a problem with a plug that caused a short circuit. Came same day and all was in order within 15 minutes. The weather was bad but he still came and my fridge plug is working now. Great work.
Sam The Handyman (via HomeStars)
Knob and tube rewiring, older home. I am reluctant to share electrician Zvonko with anyone. But in fairness to him… We bought old house knob and tube wiring huge project. Did a fantastic job. Brother in law electrician, electrical contractor in Calgary saw the work couldn’t believe the quality of workmanship kept pointing out things, look how he did this, see how he did that, extremely impressed. If you want quality work, fair price he is your guy.
Tom Hiller
Short-notice service call. Zvonko is very professional in his work and is very knowledgeable about his craft. In addition, he was very accommodating to our extremely short notice and was extremely nice and courteous when he arrived. A+
Maitlin Chambers, Hamilton
Living room short circuit repair. We had a short circuit cutting all power off to my living room. Zvonko addressed the problem quickly and efficiently. A few holes in the drywall were necessary to run new wiring, but he was thorough in explaining the problem, and patched up the holes cleanly.
Mel Giroux, Hamilton
Service cable, new panel and kitchen rewire. We had our service cable replaced by Apollo Electric along with a new board to replace the 4-breaker that came with the house. We also had the entire kitchen re-wired since we had walls down and we were still mid-demo mode. While they were doing what we agreed to, they also fixed a few things upstairs that were just wrong. Zvonko hooked us up with an outdoor plug, and also discovered a serious fire hazard a previous owner had hidden inside the walls. We will use Apollo Electric again for sure.
Jason Rondeau, Hamilton
Basement electrical safety repairs. The last time I used them was for some work on the basement. I had never wanted an electrician to see what was down there with good reason. They found lots of fire hazards and exposed wires. They somewhat ‘up-sold’ me on doing some more work there, but I probably have a much safer house because of it. It was completed quickly and the new outlets are great. We will certainly be calling them again.
Ken McDonald, Stoney Creek, Hamilton
Ceiling fans, exhaust fan and pot lights. Apollo Electric finished a large job at my house today: installing multiple ceiling fans, a bathroom exhaust fan and pot lights in two rooms – all in an old home where nothing is easy. They were friendly, they did a fabulous job, they finished on time and they cleaned up everything when they were done! This is the company I’ll use for electrical work from now on.

How to Read Any Electrician's Reviews
Apollo Electric reviews are only one part of the picture. Before you hire any electrician, check three things that reviews cannot tell you on their own.
- The licence. Ask for the ECRA/ESA contractor licence number and look it up yourself. Apollo Electric's is 7009372.
- The paperwork. Ask whether the electrician files the ESA notification and whether the job will close with an ESA certificate.
- The coverage. Ask about WSIB. If an uncovered worker is injured on your property, the liability can fall on you.
Then read Apollo Electric reviews, or anyone else's, for what they actually describe. Specific jobs, named neighbourhoods and problems that were explained are worth more than a row of stars.
